Waldorf Astoria Bangkok Review
Set in Siam, which is a favorite of Bangkok's fashion-conscious youth, around 25 minutes on foot from the stunning Siam Center, the 5-star Waldorf Astoria Bangkok Hotel features a saltwater swimming pool and views of the park. This luxury hotel provides access to the hindu ศาลท้าวมหาพรหม Erawan Shrine and welcomes its guests to use spa therapy, various recreational opportunities and barbeque grills or to enjoy Thai dishes in the on-site Thai restaurant.
This Bangkok hotel offers a buffet breakfast in the restaurant. The onsite restaurants here, including Front Room and Peacock Alley, serve Thai and international dishes. You can also visit a pool bar furnished with floor-to-ceiling windows, and serving refreshing drinks. There is a sushi bar serving Japanese food around 5 minutes' walk away.
The Waldorf Astoria is located a short walk from the upscale district of Bangkok, near to the Hindu Erawan Shrine. The 4-storey Tokyu department store "MBK Center" in Bangkok is a 5-minute ride from the property.
The area features a number of shopping sites such as Central World Shopping Plaza at a short distance from the accommodation.
All of the air-conditioned rooms are appointed with a cable TV with on-demand films along with coffee and tea making equipment, and some of them comprise a balcony and a separate living area. Guests can use a rain shower and a sauna together with hair dryers.
Waldorf Astoria Bangkok Hotel lies 350 metres of Ratchadamri underground station, while within 15 minutes' walk of The Selected.
A sunbathing terrace and a community pool are available at additional cost as well. Indulge in one of the many beauty treatments at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok such as a Jacuzzi, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool. The onsite wellness facilities include a wellness area and a spa lounge.
