Hotel Lion Sofia Review
The 3-star Hotel Lion Sofia enjoys a unique location, only 1.5 km from places of worship like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, and provides guests with a restaurant and storage for belongings. This smoke-free hotel has a barbecue restaurant serving Eastern European cuisine and is situated just a short drive from National Institute of Archaeology with Museum.
The Lion serves a continental breakfast featuring fresh coffee and local products. Food options for lunch are available at the on-site Hadjidraganovite kashti restaurant. To cater to every palate, it offers a gluten free menu.
The historic accommodation puts you in the very heart of Sofia, a 5-minute ride from Mall of Sofia and 17 minutes on foot from the long-standing park "City Garden". The Lion Sofia is 300 metres from Women's market and within sight of Lavov Most underground station.
The nearby shopping sights include the covered Central Sofia Market Hall, which is a mere 0.6 km away.
Some of the 17 spacious rooms are equipped with individual climate control and an iron with ironing board, as well as entertainment amenities such as complimentary wireless internet and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. They are furnished with sound-proofed windows, and also come with a minibar fridge. The spacious bathrooms include a tub and a shower, and amenities such as a hairdryer and toiletries.
